Love is Illusion

I no longer believe in love. It's empty, shallow, pointless. All based on chemical responses. There's nothing magical about it. It's just two people who dig each other physically and can tolerate each other's mannerisms. That's it. It's pointless. Shallow. Empty. And now I'm numb. I was sure I was in love, and now I'm very numb.

I've wanted him off and on for six years. Got a taste, and I still don't regret what we did. A taste is better than nothing at all.

There is no empty mood, so I'll have to go with lonely. It's close, anyway.

Perhaps it's not that love is an illusion, but perhaps it's that I'm not good enough for love. *ponders this*

[Edit] Of course I believe. It's just easier to say I don't. *feels helpless*
